I am a retired psychologist and had major trauma in my life in the 1980s. I have used CES Ultra for several years off and on when my anxiety symptoms act up. I have found the device works within a few minutes to stop an episode of unreasoning fear. I combine this with meditation and I find it very powerful. The anxiety symptoms go away with regular use and then I stop using but in time they return. I am thinking that the device may need to be used as a daily or weekly routine to keep the symptoms eliminated. i choose not to take meds. Now this article on connecting in the middle of the ear for the vagus nerve caught my eye so i will try that. My routine has been 30 minutes clipped to the bottom of my ear with the power turned up until I feel a tingling in my ear. I have had no negative side effects from using the Ultra CES.

CES is the doorway to good health… Its multiplicity of health benefits include: induction of relaxation response; exertion of control over frontal lobe behavior and modulating hormone levels...When amino acid supplementation is coupled with CES therapy, this combination is a potentially potent therapeutic regimen for anti-aging.

We have sold hundreds of CES Ultras since their introduction. While we do not release feedback from our customers, judging by referrals and orders for supplies, it seems that the devices have had positive results. We have a liberal return policy and have received very few back. The CES Ultra has an excellent track record for reliability as well.

For the past three years, I have been using Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation (CES) in my psychology practice. I have used it with most of my patients. Many of them have been so impressed with the results they have obtained in my office, that they have gone on to obtain their own. Fortunately, the unit is so reasonably priced that cost no longer gets in the way of my patients having access to this remarkable technology.
I have become quite familiar with the research on CES, having presented a paper on it to my colleagues at an annual convention, showing them how effective CES is in dealing not only with sleep, but with problems associated with stress, mood, addiction and pain. My familiarity with the 50-year history of research in CES allows me to state with certainty that the technology used in the CES Ultra is effective.
CES has also been shown to reduce muscular tension. I often recommend it for use in patients who have been injured in automobile accidents, as its gentle and relaxing effects help them to overcome not only the emotional impact of the accident, but reduce their perception of pain as well.
In my practice, I work most frequently with Veterans. Veterans can struggle with many complex symptoms, including sleep disturbance, anger, depression, anxiety, and addictions. The CES Ultra has become one of my favorite tools in working with Veterans. It permits them to sleep better, calms them down, and improves their mood - all without side effects or risk of addiction.
Thank you for making the unit available at such an accessible price. I believe that, at some point, everyone could benefit from CES.
I hope that this letter helps you in your quest to put CES into every home!

I wanted to let you know that since Feb. 2004, I have been prescribing and using myself an electrical device about the size of a pack of cigarettes called the CES Ultra. My own sleep has vastly improved as it has for about forty of my patients as well as lowering anxiety and giving a mood elevating feeling. I recommend the units highly as they have helped many of my patients (and myself) relax.

I purchased my CES Ultra foruse in my clinic and for my personal use afterreading about the Veteran's Administration testing Cranial ElectricalStimulation for both depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder inveterans. Since I am anActive Duty Army Physician Assistant serving withthe 10th Mountain Division and later the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade on 3deployments to Iraq, I treat many young Soldiers with both of thoseconditions. Usingboth professional psycho-therapy (standard talk therapy),SSRIs and CES Ultra I felt that we were giving our Soldiers the bestpossible therapies. Where no one therapy works for all conditions and allSoldiers, I feltthat the more tools in my arsenal the better. All theSoldiers seem to like the immediate calming effects ofthe CES Ultra andmany of the Soldiers commented that they slept much better on nights theygot a sessionwith the CES Ultra. I use it when doing office work andfilling out patient's charts and always feel more calmand focused and sleepbetter when I use it regularly. I recommend CES Ultra to anyone that hasdepression, or feels anxious or frazzle and wants a non-medication treatmentfor calming ones nerves andimproving their sleep.

“CES has forever changed my treatment approach. I have never experienced results like I have had in the past two months. Ihave several fibromyalgia patients who have had sufficient pain relief to resume normal activities with as little as two 20-minute treatments per week. One of my patient stopped limping after only one treatment. The results that I have been obtaining with CES have been miraculous.”
- Marilyn Lins, MD, of Utica Neuorological Surgery, Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma
“I never use narcotics because they don't work well enough for the patients, and once patients start narcotics, they never come off them. My prescription: a daily dose of mild electrical stimulation with CES.”
- Howard Rosen, MD, an anesthesiologist/pain specialist in Monterey, California
“I conducted a micro-current electrical therapy (MET) and CES study in pain patients. They responded extremely well and are getting 80 to 90% relief. I am highly convinced about CES technology now. A few of my colleagues want to own a CES for personal use after seeing its long-term results.”
- Arun Kulkarni, MD, an anesthesiologist in Bombay, India
“CES was as effective as prescription drugs in relieving pain, but completely safewith no negative side effects, and deserves further consideration as an additional agent for the treatments.”
- Alan S. Lichtbroun, MD, a board-certified rheumatologist in New Jersey
